Celebrate the season with seedlings

Spring is officially here! Celebrate by pre-ordering your tree seedlings from Trees For Tomorrow.

Spring is here and Trees for Tomorrow is offering seedlings as a way to celebrate the season. The Eagle River non-profit natural resources school is selling red (Norway) pine tree seedlings for 75 cents each in honor of its 75th anniversary. Other options available to the public include white pine, white spruce hybrid and northern white cedar, at $1.50 per seedling. Proceeds help support educational programs.

“Planting tree seedlings is a great way for landowners to sustainably reforest their property for future generations,” said sale coordinator Juli Welnetz. The seedlings are containerized and have established root systems. They will be available for pick up in early to mid-May. For more information, visit treesfortomorrow.com/tree-seedlings/ or call 715-479-6456.
