St. Germain man killed Wednesday

A 62-year-old St. Germain man was killed Wednesday when his snowmobile collided with a vehicle on Found Lake Road in St. Germain, shortly before 7 p.m.

According to the Vilas County Sheriff’s Office, the deceased was driving west in the east-bound lane when he struck an east-bound vehicle. He was pronounced dead on the scene. Speed is cited as a contributing factor.

The man’s name is being withheld pending notification of family.
