Obituary: Wanda LaPlaunt
Wanda Ester LaPlaunt, age 84, died Wednesday, March 6, 2019. She was born Sept. 10, 1934, in Strongs, Mich., to William and Alice McLeod.
She is survived by her daughters, Vicky Martin of Goulias River, Ont., Dena (Dale) Cryderman of Sault Ste Marie, Mich., Alice (Mike) Redmond of Rhinelander, Lesa Florek of Rhinelander and Lorna (Larry) Livermore of Brimley, Mich.; 20 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; siblings, Max, Bradley and Bruce; step-siblings, Merlin, Lola, Spence and Bob.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Lorne; son-in-law, Jamie Martin; and siblings Maxine and Bill.
Services are being planned for this coming summer in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. Service dates and times will be released at a later date. (Carlson Funeral Home)
