Rhinelander schools schedule make up days
As indicated on the 2018-2019 school year calendar, if school is canceled due to inclement weather, the days may be made up at the end of the school year.
Due to the unusual number of days that schools have already been closed this year, the district must make up instructional hours as required by state law. Therefore, the following changes are being made to the 2018-2019 school year calendar:
• Friday, June 7, 2019 (rather than Thursday, June 6, 2019) – last day for PreK-11 students
• Monday, June 10, 2019 (rather than Friday, June 7, 2019) – last day for professional staff
• Wednesday, June 12, 2019 (rather than Monday, June 10, 2019) – Summer school begins
• The last day for Rhinelander High School senior students will remain as Friday, May 31, 2019.
