February mindfulness

“Skills…skills…skills” is the featured mindfulness program at Ascension Koller Behavioral Health, held Tuesday, Feb. 19 from 1-2:30 p.m. in the second floor conference room. The free program focuses on the necessary skill set to be calm, clear and in the moment. The Riverside Meditation Group will be held Thursday, Feb. 14 and 28 at 5:30 p.m. This is an opportunity for anyone with a meditation practice to have regular group support. Talent sought for ‘Northwoods Night at the Mic’

Three Lakes Parent Teacher Organization and the Three Lakes Theatre Company are gearing up for the second annual Northwoods Night at the Mic talent show and Silent Mic auction to be held Saturday, March 9 at the school auditorium. Talent auditions will take place Tuesday, Feb. 19 from 4-7 p.m. Auditions are open to adults as well as students in grades 7-12. Individuals or groups of musicians, singers, dancers, magicians, comedians and more may try out. Call 715-479-8900 to register to audition. Money raised for the event help fund field trips, classroom supplies and student/faculty experiences. For more information, visit the Three Lakes PTO on Facebook.
