Obituary: Lois Koth

Lois J. Koth, age 80 of Tomahawk, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk.
Lois was born May 19, 1928, in Tomahawk to Bert and Emma (Strand) Schrader. Lois lived in the Road Lake area for most of her life. She was married to George Koth on Feb. 14, 1948. Together they had three children. George preceded Lois in death in 1989. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and doing crafts. Lois also liked spending time in the kitchen baking, cooking and canning. For the past few months, Lois was a resident at Riverview Health Services. Lois was a faithful member of Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church.
Lois is survived by her two sons, Ron (Linda) Koth of Rhinelander, and Jerry (Sheila) Koth of Wausau; three grandchildren, Karl (Felicia) Koth of Eau Claire, Karissa (Tony) Pollard of Weston, and Favian Koth of Green Bay. She is further survived by her great-granddaughter, Kaelynn. Lois is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Larry; and brothers, Verdayne and Alan Schrader.
The funeral service for Lois J. Koth will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, at Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. Pastor Mark Gass will officiate. Visitation will take place at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery in the spring.
