Star Journal Report

Craig Lau

Brandon Karaba

Craig Lau has been promoted to Northern Market President and will oversee Peoples Bank locations in Rhinelander, Eagle River and Minocqua. He has served as vice president of commercial lending in Rhinelander for the past seven years. Lau, an Army veteran, fills the position left open after the recent retirement of Tom Knudsen.

Rhinelander native Brandon Karaba has been named assistant vice president-mortgage loan originator at Peoples State Bank. As a mortgage lender, Karaba helps customers obtain financing for home purchases. Northern market president Craig Lau stated the community bank appreciates Karaba’s “desire to give back to Rhinelander and the Northwoods through his involvement in coaching and guiding our youth in sports…[and] other community organizations.” Karaba has been with Peoples for 15 years.
