Five arrested in Crandon; heroin, crack cocaine allegedly found
Forest County officers have arrested five people on drug-related charges in Crandon. According to a press release, the county K9 unit gave a positive indication on a vehicle during a traffic stop. Detectives then allegedly found 11 bags of heroin, 12 bags of crack cocaine, digital scales, packaging materials and a large amount of drug paraphernalia.
Arrested were the driver, Rhonda Rachal, 24, and Jay White, Jr., 26, both of Crandon, and Cayenne Ross, 22, of Watersmeet. All three were taken into custody for possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia. Rachal and Ross were also arrested for felony bail jumping.
Detectives carried out a search warrant at Rachal’s residence in the town of Lincoln, where it is reported detectives found digital scales, packaging materials, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Two individuals in the residence were arrested during the search. Brandon Phalen, 20, of Crandon and Keishia Morris, 26, of Crandon were arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
All five have been booked into the Forest County jail. No court dates have been set.
