Star Journal Report
A holiday family night at the Northwoods Community Elementary School brought students, staff and parents together for conversation, hot cocoa, cookie making and to spread holiday cheer. Families donated hats, scarves, mittens and gloves which were placed in plastic bags along with a personal note from the students.

Friday, NCES fourth and fifth graders, along with teacher Shari Wendland, principal Alex Bontz and media specialist Ellie Rumney, decorated the trees on Stevensport Square with the warm winter items, free for anyone in need. The students completed their day of giving by singing Christmas carols throughout Rhinelander.
