Friday, Dec. 7

Christmas Cookie Sale: 8:30 a.m. at ArtStart Rhinelander, across from McDonald’s on Stevens Street. Featuring homemade cookies from the Rhinelander First United Methodist Women.
TGI ArtFriday Kids Art Classes: 3:30-5 p.m., ArtStart Rhinelander. “Self Portrait from Found Objects.” Children ages 7-13 will create a self portrait out of found objects. Sarah S. Saturday, Dec. 8

Indoor Farmers Market: 9 a.m.-noon at YMCA of the Northwoods. Weekly vendors vary; products sold to include eggs, root crops and mixed vegetables, pumpkins, apples, jams, jellies, salsa, cheese, homemade breads and more. For more information, call 715-362-9622 ext. 118.
Fiber Artist Show and Tell: 9-11 a.m., ArtStart, Rhinelander. Fiber artist Colleen Ansbaugh will bring art to share and describe her process. More than 40 pieces of her art will be on display in an ArtStart gallery. For more information, visit ArtStart.org.
Project North Launch Party: 5 p.m., Nicolet College Northwoods Center. Food, drink, live music and presentation of the Project North vision. Christmas Carols with Rhinelander Area Community Band: 1:30 p.m., Oneida Senior Center. All ages are invited to stop by and enjoy the songs of the season played by the local community band. Free admission; hot cocoa and cookies will be served.

Inclusive program is designed to meet the needs of all abilities; including autism spectrum, sensory processing issues and kids who just can’t sit still. Rhinelander Retired Educators Association: Noon, Hodag Lanes. Lunch followed by a program by RHS Green Shades Jazz Ensemble at 12:30 p.m.
