Obituary: Harold Houle

Harold A. Houle, age 82 of Rhinelander, died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018 at the Marshfield Hospital. He was born Jan. 15, 1936, in Argonne to Dennis and Ethel (Rosio) Houle. Howard served in the Air Force during the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; children, Michael (Shelley) Houle of Rhinelander and Carol (Dean) Golden of Pewaukee; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; two brothers, Dennis Houle of Bundy and Edward (Carol) Panko of Rhinelander; one sister, Rosie Vizer of Milwaukee; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by five sisters and four brothers. The visitation for Harold will be held Saturday, Oct. 20 at the Hildebrand Funeral Home, from 11a.m. until the 1p.m. funeral service, with Fr. Kevin Farrell officiating. Interment with full military honors will take place Monday, Oct. 22 at 1 p.m. at the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King. In honor of Harold, memorial contributions may be given to the Greater Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Chapter, 3313 S. Packerland Drive, Suite E, De Pere, Wisconsin 54115, 920-469-2110.
