Lions Club assists with vision screening
Three Lakes Lions Club members assisted in vision screening for Three Lakes and Sugar Camp elementary students in grades 4K through second grade recently.
Volunteers would screen for irregularities when the children looked into the camera. If any irregularities were noted, the parents would be notified to make an appointment with a health care professional.
Since Lions Clubs International was founded in 1917, Lions have worked on projects designed to prevent blindness, restore eyesight and improve eye health for hundreds of millions of people worldwide.
