Obituary: Robert “Bob” Nelson
Robert “Bob” George Nelson, age 68 of Rhinelander, died Monday, Sept. 24, 2018, surrounded by family.
Bob was born May 22, 1950, in Rhinelander to Arlene and Robert Nelson.
Bob is survived by his wife, Debbie (Wawrzyniak); children, Cindy Nelson, Stacy (Rob) Throm, and Luke Nelson; four grandchildren; siblings, Lisa Beckley (Dave), Steve Nelson, Jake (Deb) Nelson, Jack (Shelly) Nelson; mother-in-law, Dolores Wawrzyniak; brother-in-law, Richard Wawrzyniak, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Sharon (Dan) Jenkins, Kathy Gudleske, and Gina Reich; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; father-in law, Richard Wawrzyniak, Sr.; sister-in-law, Joanie Nelson and his good friend, Mike (Floyd) Patterson.
Visitation will be held 3-5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at Carlson Funeral Home. Afterwards, family and friends are invited to a celebration of life at The Claridge Lounge. (Carlson Funeral Home)
