Only one goal was scored during the annual Hammer Game between DC Everest and Rhinelander Tuesday night at Mike Webster Stadium. Everest had won the last few games but the Hodags were up to the challenge, hosting the Evergreens who are atop the Wisconsin Valley Conference with a 4-0-2 record.

Keeper Josh Randolph made a huge save on a penalty kick to keep the game a 0-0 early in the second half. A late second-half goal by Hodag Hugh Weise was the difference in the hard fought physical game as the Hodags reclaimed the hammer.
