The  Rhinelander Ice Association is now accepting registrations for youth hockey, figure skating, and learn to skate programs via their online registration at www.rhinelanderice.com.

Learn to Skate is open to children ages 4-10 and is held on Sunday evenings beginning on October 21.  The cost for Learn to Skate is $20 and rental skates can be used if needed.

Youth Hockey is pleased to announce a new program this year for new participants that allows them to play two years of hockey for free.  With a donation from Bill and Mary Padgett, in memory of the world’s biggest hockey fan Linda Padgett, the Rhinelander Ice Association is able to provide registration at no cost for new skaters (there may be a $50 USA Hockey fee depending on the age/program).

Registration is now open for returning players as well and financial aid is available for those that qualify for free or reduced school lunch.  Practice times and dates vary, please contact us for more information on the schedules.

The Rhinelander Figure Skating Club is pleased to offer Basic Skills and Freestyle figure skating this year.  New skaters can register for $100 for the season.  The RFSC presents two figure skating shows throughout the season and also hosts a competition and test session in the spring.  Skating lessons are typically Tuesday and Friday evenings, with additional ice time most Sunday mornings, please contact us for specific times and days.

For more information on all of the programs Rhinelander Ice Association has to offer, visit www.rhinelanderice.com or email [email protected].
