Bernice “Bobbi” S. Ross, age 77 of Rhinelander, died unexpectedly Friday, Aug. 31, 2018.  She was born Sept. 16, 1940, in Laona to Michael and Stella (Rutkowski) Perenich.

Bernice is survived by her husband, John Ross of Rhinelander; two daughters, Rachelle (Scott) Splittstoesser of Minneiska, Minn., and Sherri (Eric) Bennett of Rhinelander; her sister, Helen (Jerry) Ramsey of Rhinelander; four grandchildren; and her beloved cat, Kitty.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation with the family will take place Friday, Sept. 7, from 3 p.m., until the 6 p.m. service of rememberance, all at the Carlson Funeral Home.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family suggests donations be made to either the Oneida County Dept. on Aging for the Meals on Wheels program or the Oneida County Humane Society. (Carlson Funeral Home)
