Girl Scout Troop 7358 spent some volunteer time recently at the Rookery Run Disc Golf course on Ole Lake Road in Newbold.

The troop, under the leadership of Michele McGreal, removed blue ribbons from trees that were marked to be cut, but were spared. Rookery Run fairways are being shaped, roots and rocks cleared, rakes and seeded during June and July.

Pictured from left are Sarah Marshall, Emma Bierman, Kiera Hartzke, Makenna Sternitzky, Makayla Sternitzky and Elizabeth Joswick.

Anyone or any group interested in volunteering to help bring the project to completion can visit newboldtown.com.
