Oshkosh police seek Winnebago escapees

Two men have reportedly escaped from the Winnebago Correctional Center, located in Oshkosh.

Weinmann

One of the men has been identified as James R. Heather, 27, white, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 181 pounds, brown hair and blue eyes. He was originally convicted of possession of methamphetamine and a felon in possession of a firearm.

The other male is Alexander C. Weinmann, 25, white,  5 feet 10 inches tall, 168 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He was originally convicted of possession of burglarious tools, burglary and criminal damage to property.

It is believed the men escaped the minimum security facility between 12 and 7 a.m. June 18.

The Oshkosh Police Department is asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of the two men to call 920-236-5700 or visit winnebagocrimestoppers.org to leave anonymous information.
