Obituary: Lou Ann Tadych

Lou Ann “Louie”  M. Tadych, age 71, of Harshaw, passed away Monday, April 30, 2018, at her home under the care of Ascension at Home Hospice. Louie was born Nov. 30, 1946, in West Bend, to the late Edgar and Marian (Joosten) Weiss. She married Edward Tadych on May 23, 1980; he survives.

Louie graduated from high school and entered the workforce.  She worked for many years at Frontier Communications in Rhinelander, until her retirement. Louie enjoyed camping, fishing and gardening. She loved to do many crafts including crocheting and knitting and enjoyed playing games, softball, going to the casino and watching the Packer games. Louie loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Edward of Harshaw; children, Dawn Grisar of Rochester, Minn., Laura (Mark) Durkee of Rhinelander, William (Michele) Tadych of Green Bay, Dean (Sue) Grisar of River Falls, Dion (Daphane) Grisar of La Crescent, Minn., and Jed (Lauretta) Wagner of Wausau; brothers, John Weiss of Kewaunee, Tom (Donna) Weiss of Kewaskum, and Rick (Jennifer) Weiss of Rochester, Minn.; 11 grandchildren, Jay, Allison, Mikayla, Luke, Kendra, Dennis, Gable, Ezhra, Jameson, Jordan and Ryker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law, Alias Tadych; and and brother-in-law, Donald Tadych.

Monetary donations will be presented by the family to the American Cancer Society and the Oneida County Humane Society.

Memorial Services for Lou Ann will be held Saturday, May 12, at 1 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tomahawk, with the Rev. Thomas Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. service. Rev. Thomas Thompson will officiate. (Generations Funeral Home)
