‘Voters Engaged’ listening session April 14

Northwoods Friends for Civic Participation is hosting a multi-partisan listening session April 14, 1-3 p.m. at the Oneida County Senior Center.
The event, held in conjunction with the Wisconsin “Voters Engaged” project, will allow citizens to speak directly to their elected state and national representatives. The format is designed to ensure respectful interaction and is not a town hall meeting.
There will be written rules for audience participation.
Elected officials who have confirmed attendance are Sen. Tom Tiffany, Rep. Mary Felzkowski, a staff person from U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin’s office and a staff person from U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson’s office. U.S. Rep. Sean Duffy declined the invitation; Rep. Rob Swearingen has not yet responded.
