Joan M. Reese, age 88 of Rhinelander, died March 18, 2018, at Friendly Village. She was born Sept. 15, 1929 in Rhinelander to Marvin and Florence (Heisner) Coleman.

Joan is survived by her children, Terri Reese of Rhinelander, Margie Reese of Bolingbrook, Ill., Greg (Lori) Reese, of Rhinelander, Cathy Reese of Downers Grove, Ill.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Doris Meyer, Luella Jones and Barbara Slay, all of Rhinelander; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis J. Reese Jr.; sisters, Sue Langbecker, Lillian (John) Alsteen, Bernice (Victor) Kuschel and Rosalie (Lee) Fessenden; two brothers, Robert Coleman, Ronald Coleman; and three infant brothers.

A visitation for Joan will be held Sunday, April 8, 1-6 p.m. at the Hildebrand Funeral Home. The memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. with Dn. Michael Harvey officiating. A release of pastel-colored balloons in memory of Joan will take place at the conclusion of the visitation, followed by a luncheon in the Hildebrand Banquet Room. (Hildebrand Funeral Home)
