Obituary: Michael G. Stine

Michael G. Stine, age 62 of Rhinelander, died Feb. 6, 2018, at his home, in the company of his family.  He was born May 18, 1955, in Merrill to Edwin Sr. and Grace (West) Stine.

After high school, Mike served 20 years in the Army, stationed in Germany.

Mike is survived by his wife, Eunice Beatty of Rhinelander ; his daughter, Jenny Scholer of Germany; step-daughter, Claudia Fuhrmann of Germany; Eunice’s children, Kim (Jesse Plautz) of Arizona, Calvin (Jenny Dixon) Beatty of Rhinelander, and Robert (Tabitha) Beatty of Rhinelander; eight grandchildren; his brother, Steven (Laurel) Stine of Merrill; two sisters, Debbie (Steve) Hart of St. Johnsville, N.Y., and Lahina Stine of Leggett, Texas; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Andreas; and a brother, Edwin Stine Jr.

A graveside service with military honors will take place at noon Feb. 12, at Forest Home Cemetery in Rhinelander Monday, February 12, 2018, at Forest Home Cemetery in Rhinelander. (Carlson Funeral Home)
