Jeans for Teens drive a ‘success’
STAR JOURNAL REPORT
Rhinelander High School FBLA/DECA club collected nearly 600 pairs of jeans in its fourth year of the ‘Jeans for Teens’ drive.
The students collected the clothing over the past month, with donation boxes at various schools and local businesses, and offered reduced admission to a basketball game with a donation.
The club will give the jeans to Frederick Place, the temporary housing shelter located in Rhinelander, and the Family Resource Connection for distribution.
Abigail Krueger, vice president of community service for the club, said the drive was an “amazing success,” and thanked all who participated.
