Justin Sly

More than $3,000 in cash and heroin with an estimated street value of $28,000 was reportedly seized at a Merrill residence where the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and Merrill Police Department executed a search warrant Tuesday. Jason M. Sly, 23, was arrested and appeared in Lincoln County District Court Wednesday, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.

Sly is charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin (>50g), a Class C felony, maintaining a drug trafficking place and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held on a $50,000 cash bond.

Penalties for a Class D felony are a fine not to exceed $100,000 or imprisonment not to exceed 25 years, or both.  Sly will next appear in court Jan. 16 for a scheduling conference.
