Greetings from the Wisconsin Veterans Home

Navy veteran Mike Clapper sends his best wishes to all of his friends and family during this holiday season.

Clapper, of Rhinelander, currently lives at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King.

He enlisted in the Navy Jan. 18, 1967, during the Vietnam War and served most of his time in Morocco, North Africa.

Mike has one son, Justin; two daughters, Jessie and Tara; and three grandchildren. His sister, Laurie Stefanez lives in Gleason.

Mike Clapper was best known for playing in the Denny Bloom and the Sideman Band every weekend at Leo’s Lair, downtown Rhinelander.
