Beverly Inez Schoonover-Mathey, age 72 of Rhinelander, died Dec. 12, 2017 at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital. She was born April 28, 1945 in Adams-Friendship to Erving “Jack” and Edith (Spafford) Towne.

Bev is survived by her husband, Ray E. Mathey; sons, Ollie J. (Andrea) Schoonover of Rhinelander and Tad E. Schoonover of Eagle River; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Jackie (Gail) Pond and Mary Worden, of Rhinelander; brothers, Larry of Antigo, and Dale, and Randy K. (Marilyn) of Rhinelander.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joan; brother, Mark and grandson, Cody.

A memorial service will be held Dec. 18 at 1 p.m., with visitation 10 a.m. until the time of the service, all at Hildebrand Funeral Home. (Hildebrand Funeral Home)
