The Rhinelander Lions Club is hosting its 30th annual Christmas Not Alone dinner Dec. 25, 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Nativity of Our Lord Church, St. Joe’s site, 1360 N. Stevens Street. The tradition began in 1987 to provide an opportunity for people to share a dinner with others. The group serves 300 community members and delivers another 100 to those unable to venture out.

Call Rapid Cab, 715-365-7433, for a free taxi ride to the church. For home delivery of a meal, call 715-282-5904 before Christmas day or 715-490-0048 between 9 a.m. and noon Christmas morning.

Anyone wishing to volunteer with members of the Lions for preparing, serving and delivering meals can contact Tom at 715-362-6534, Sandy at 715-690-6208 or Dick 715-490-1899. Tax deductible donations to help support the dinner can be mailed to the Rhinelander Lions, P.O.  Box 1005, Rhinelander, WI 54501.
