STAR JOURNAL REPORT

The Rhinelander District Library Foundation recently accepted a $500 donation from Ripco Credit Union toward the purchase of new LED lighting, to replace fixtures in the library that were installed in 1985.

RDLF president Susan Anderson said she is thankful for the support Ripco has shown the library over the years. Ripco’s Vice President of marketing and business development said the credit union is happy to invest in the future by supporting the library foundation’s lighting project.

“We recognize [the library] as an integral part of our community,” Diane Sowinski said. “Many people rely heavily on the services provided by our library, and many simply enjoy the atmosphere and the sense of history.”
