RHS musicians participate in GNC music festival

STAR JOURNAL REPORT

Several Rhinelander High School musicians participated in the 9th Annual Great Northern Conference (GNC) All-Conference Band and Choir Festival Nov. 11 at Northland Pines High School in Eagle River.

Members of the band worked under the direction of Dr. Michael Butler from UW-Stevens Point. Members of the chorus worked under the direction of Dr. Frank Watkins from UW-Eau Claire. Both the band and choir performed a wide variety of pieces at an evening concert.

The RHS musicians include Ashley Adams, Samantha Smith, Brittany Curby, Daniel Goldsworthy, Abby Albright, Elizabeth Glut, Adam Bloom, Jada Appling, Raven Sturtevant, Lauren Iverson, Rachel Uhlarik, Lisa White, Morgan Elko, Jacob Dreifuerst, Anthony Klabunde, Jade Bennett, Shea Bellile, Mackenzie Brooks, Dante Suhm, Chase Redmond and Victoria Parshall.
