GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: Hodags sweep Thunderbirds, improve to 3-4 in GNC

STAR JOURNAL REPORT

The Rhinelander High School varsity girls volleyball team won Thursday’s Great Northern Conference dual match in three straight games at Lakeland Union High School, 25-12,25-15, 25-20.

The Hodags’ statistical leaders included: Hope Wissbroecker, 16 kills, 14 digs and two solo blocks; Stephanie Kuester, four service aces and 22 digs. Makayla Kuester, 16 set assists; Ally Seefeldt, eight set assists, two service aces and 14 digs; and Cami Buchmann, four service aces.

RHS’s season record stands at 3-4 in the GNC and 12-14 overall going into Tuesday home conference match against Tomahawk.
