Local church bikes to end world hunger

Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church’s annual Bike Ride for World Hunger raised more than $11,000 this year. The proceeds were presented two organizations that work to eliminate hunger by the youth and adult participants.
Receiving a check for $3,711 was Guy Hansen, executive director of the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry. Cathy Sanborn accepted a check for $7,400 for ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church of America) World Hunger.
The check presentation at the Rhinelander church included Jeremiah Bellow, Keith Snyder, Mariah McCue, Ethan Snyder, Pam Snyder, Lexi Morrison, Lisa Kroll, Tyler Morrison, Brittany Landphier and Dave Kroll.
