Hunter education courses set

The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office is sponsoring two Wisconsin DNR certified hunter education courses. Anyone born after Jan. 1, 1973 is required to take the class in order to hunt.
Students are now required to obtain a DNR customer ID number for any recreational safety class they attend. Contact the DNR at 1-888-936-7463 to obtain this number before the course begins. Cost for each course is $10 per person.

September classes:
Sept. 5 – 7; Sept. 18, 20, 21 at the Oneida County Law Enforcement Center, 4-7 p.m.
Sept. 23, range day.
October classes:
Oct. 16, 17, 19, 23, 26, 26 at the Oneida County Law Enforcement Center, 4-7 p.m.
Oct. 28 is range day.
