STAR JOURNAL REPORT
The Rhinelander Area Ambassadors recently visited Sew Creative, located at 30 W. Davenport St., downtown, which has recently undergone expansion. The quilt shop now includes a 1,500-square-foot quilting studio which includes a large classroom and meeting area.
A new rental program is available for the HandiQuilter Avante longarm, and the HandiQuilter Sweet Sixteen for those interested in quilting their own quilt projects. Experienced help is always available.
Along with the new quilting studio, Sew Creative has become an authorized Janome dealer and carries a full line of Janome sewing machines and accessories. A variety of HandiQuilter longarm machines and accessories are available at the shop, which is also a signature dealer for the AccuQuilt fabric cutting system.
With the popularity of their free-motion quilting classes, quilting educator Susan Bolte has developed a series of free-motion quilting classes on domestic/home sewing machines and longarm machines for all skill levels. Sewing and quilting classes for all levels are offered each month. The shop is open Monday though Saturday. Call 715-420-1818 for more information, or visit the Sew Creative LLC Facebook page.
