Permit approved for new Dollar General in Minocqua

Dollar General has been granted a conditional use permit by the Oneida County Planning and Development Committee to build a new 7,500-square-foot store in Minocqua.
According to the permit report provided to committee members at Wednesday’s meeting, the new store, estimated to cost $575,000, will be built on a parcel approximately 1.3 acres zoned for business use along Highway 51 near the junction of Fir Street.
The hours of operation would be from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week, with the store having from 8-10 employees and two employees per shift.
