Northwoods Summer Art Tour July 28–30

No tickets necessary, only an appreciation of art
STAR JOURNAL REPORT
This weekend art lovers can get a glimpse into the world where artists create, and watch them at work. The self-guided Northwoods Summer Art Tour takes participants to 33 studios throughout Iron, Vilas, Oneida, Lincoln and Langlade counties. Visitors are invited to get off the beaten path and experience the scenic back roads that lead to these private artist studios that are rarely open to the public.
No reservations or tickets are needed. Guests are welcome to visit as many or as few of the studios as their interests and time allow. On the tour are artists representing a variety styles and art media, including photography, twigs and logs, glass, paint, fiber, pottery and more.
Studios will be open 10 a.m.–5 p.m. July 28-30. Brochures with color maps and directions are available at area Chambers of Commerce, many local businesses and on the tour web site at www.northwoodsarttour.com.
