STAR JOURNAL REPORT

The Rhinelander Chapter of Let’s Go Fishing has received a boost from the Rhinelander Lions Club. A $500 check was presented to Let’s Go Fishing chapter president Mark Schroeder by Lions member Dick Garrow.

Let’s Go Fishing, a non-profit organization, offers free boat rides and fishing trips on Boom Lake to senior citizen groups, individuals, nursing home residents, assisted living center residents, social service agencies, disabled adults and others on a handicap-accessible pontoon boat. Life vests, rods and reels, live bait and volunteer fishing guide are all provided free of charge.

For more information or to schedule a ride or fishing excursion, contact Mark Schroeder at 715-219-5436.
