The Rhinelander Woman’s Club, a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, donated $4,500 to the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry recently.

In addition to financial support, the Rhinelander Woman’s Club volunteers monthly to help with distribution, assists with the Backpack Program, helps direct the Community Garden, and club members donate children’s books to be given out at the food pantry through the Food for the Mind program.

The Rhinelander Woman’s Club is dedicated to improving the community by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer services. For additional information about the Rhinelander Woman’s club call Kay Salewske at 715-453-5058. The club meets on the second Tuesday of the month at the Days Inn, Rhinelander. New members are welcome.  [submitted photo]
