GIRLS BASKETBALL: Hodags win at Antigo, 41-34

The Rhinelander High School varsity girls basketball team picked up its first Great Northern Conference victory of the season after winning Thursday night at Antigo, 41-34.

The Hodags, who led 16-13 at halftime, had two players end up in double figures with Kaly Kostrova scoring a game-high 15 points and Ally Seefeldt adding 12 points.

Laurissa Belott led the Red Robins with 15 points.

The win evened RHS’s season record to 3-3 overall and 1-1 in the GNC going into Tuesday’s conference game at Medford.

Hodags 41, Antigo 34

Hodags     16           25 – 41

Antigo       13           21 – 34

Hodags: Ally Seefeldt: 12, Brooke Mork 8, Kaly Kostrova 15, Ali Schickert 6. 3-pointers: Kostrova 2. Free throws: 7-12 Fouls: 18. Fouled out: Maddie Meyer.
