OBITUARY: Dorothy Lehmann
Dorothy Lehmann, age 90 of Rhinelander and formerly of Fox Lake and Milwaukee, died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2016, at Rennes Health and Rehab. She was born Nov. 28, 1925 in Milwaukee to Erwin and Hattie (Ohm) Kaliebe.
Dorothy was raised in Milwaukee and graduated from high school there. She married Frederick Lehmann June 7, 1947, in Milwaukee where they raised their family of two children. Dorothy was employed in the credit department at Sears for 25 years. In retirement, she and Fred moved to Fox Lake, residing there until Dorothy moved to Rhinelander in 2015. Dorothy loved camping and spending time with family and friends, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Christene (Ralph) Epling of Red Granite; her son, Michael (Mary) Lehmann of Rhinelander; five grandchildren, Kimberly (Ron) Haase, Mischell Hopp, Michael (Laura) Lehmann, Anthony (Casey) Lehmann, and James (Shannon) Lehmann; thirteen great-grandchildren, Matthew, Ashley, Justin, Johnathon, James, Cheyenne, Brylee, Addie, Dominic, Kaleb, MacKenzie, Ryan, and Alex; and two sisters, Sandy (Tom) Ingram of Cedarburg and Mary (Al) Haggert of Minocqua.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Frederick, a sister, and a brother.
Per Dorothy’s request, there will be no formal services. Inurnment will take place in Riverside Memorial Park in Fox Lake. Carlson Funeral Home (715-369-1414 /www.carlsonfh.com) is assisting with arrangements.
