GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: Hodags swept by Raiders in GNC finale

STAR JOURNAL REPORT

The Rhinelander High School varsity girls volleyball team closed out its Great Northern Conference schedule Tuesday when the Hodags lost in three straight games at Medford, the undefeated league champion, 20-25, 13-25, 15-25.

RHS’s statistical leaders included: Hope Wissbroecker, 12 kills and 12 digs; Ally Seefeldt, 16 set assists; and Stephanie Kuester, 14 digs.

The Hodags, whose season record dropped to 3-9 in the GNC for sixth place in league play and 14-19 overall, next have a tournament Saturday at Wausau West before beginning the postseason next Tuesday with a Regional match at Medford.
