Forest County authorities say three men were arrested early Saturday morning while harvesting over 600 pounds of marijuana in the town of Armstrong Creek.  The Forest County Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force along with the assistance of several deputies executed a search warrant on a very large outdoor marijuana operation. Arrested were Dennis J. Pratt, 51 of Waukesha, Steven P. Wasechek, 32 of Milwaukee and Kevin M. Hying, 35 of Big Bend. Inside a residence on the property, according to a press release from the county, was found marijuana, drug paraphernalia and cocaine.   All three are being held at the Forest County Jail on charges of Manufacturing THC, Possession with Intent to Deliver and Possession of Paraphernalia and Possession of Cocaine.

According to Sheriff John Dennee, this investigation was started after a concerned citizen contacted the Forest County Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force and reported finding a suspected marijuana grow near property they own.  Sheriff Dennee stated that the execution and the arrests went smoothly due to a “very thorough investigation and the assistance of the Drug Task Force, other Sheriff’s Deputies as well as his Dispatchers and Corrections staff.”
