GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: Hodags fall in five to Hatchets

STAR JOURNAL REPORT

The Rhinelander High School varsity girls volleyball team played another Great Northern Conference match that went the full five games, but Tuesday the Hodags came up on the losing end at Tomahawk, 25-23, 18-25, 25-17. 23-25, 12-15.

RHS’s statistical leaders included: Hope Wissbroecker, 25 kills; Ally Seefeldt, 33 set assists; Stephanie Kuester, 29 digs; and Makayla Kuester, three service aces.

The Hodags, who dropped their match season record to 2-6 in the GNC and 13-16 overall, return to action Saturday in the conference tournament at Medford.
