Nicolet College Student Ambassadors named
A pair of Nicolet College students has been selected to represent the school as ambassadors for the 2016-17 academic year. Throughout their term, Sammi Zalewski and Anna Gane will work to inform the public firsthand about the opportunities available at Nicolet College.
“Being named a Nicolet Student Ambassador is one of the highest honors the college gives a student,” said Nicolet Director of Student Success Christin Van Kauwenberg. “Both of the students selected are very deserving and I’m sure will do a great job representing Nicolet.”
Students are selected after going through a nomination and interview process. Zalewski, a second-year Dental Hygiene student from Sayner, will serve as the District Student Ambassador.
“Nicolet is such an incredible college with a great atmosphere,” Zalewski said. “You receive all kinds of hands-on experience and the instructors really care that you get a high quality education. I consider it an honor to be able to go out and tell people about all of the great opportunities available to them at Nicolet.”
Gane, a second-year Business Management student from Tomahawk, will serve as the Nicolet College Foundation Ambassador.
“I’ve had such a wonderful experience at Nicolet,” Gane said. “The Foundation does great work. It’s exciting to be able to talk with donors and let them know first-hand how scholarships make such a big difference in the lives of students.”
The students were nominated by their instructors for the Ambassador distinction.
