STAR JOURNAL REPORT

The Rhinelander High School girls tennis team extended this season’s string of Great Northern Conference victories to 10 Tuesday when the Hodags remained undefeated in conference play by winning at home over Antigo, 6-1.

RHS won all four singles matches and two of the three doubles matches. Only one of those six match victories went the full three sets.

The Hodags next host Ironwood, Mich., on Thursday for a dual meet before hosting Saturday’s GNC meet, which will be the final varsity meets before the Oct. 3 Sub-Sectional at Wausau West High School.
