Crime network WEBThe Wausau Police Department has issued a Wisconsin Crime Alert to help locate a missing Wausau man. According to the alert the man, identified as Brian, left his residence in the 300 block of South 3rd Ave., at 8:30 p.m. Sept. 5 with his service dog.

His girlfriend returned home at 11:30 p.m. and found the dog running loose in the parking lot with no collar or leash. Brian is said to never leave without the dog.

The apartment was found unlocked and all of his belongings, including I.D. and phone were left at the apartment.

Brian has Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and is said to have been acting “odd” over the weekend.

Anyone with information regarding Brian’s whereabouts is asked to contact Marathon County dispatch.
