RHS now 10-1 in team play

The Rhinelander High School girls tennis team recorded its 10^th victory of the season in team play Tuesday when the Hodags won at home over Lakeland Union High School, 5-2.

RHS split the four singles matches with the Thunderbirds, with Kristina Jacobson winning both sets in the No. 2 singles and Belinda Weddle also picking up a straight-set victory in the No. 3 singles, and swept all three doubles matches.

The Hodags’ overall season team record stands at 10-1 going into Wednesday’s home quadrangular meet with Ashland, Ironwood and Merrill.
