GIRLS TENNIS: Hodags go 3-0 in season opener at Wausau Invite

The Rhinelander girls tennis team opened the season Monday by winning against all three teams it faced at the Wausau Invite.
The Hodags defeated both Newman Catholic and Wausau East by 4-3 team scores and also shut out D.C. Everest, 7-0.
RHS won eight of its nine doubles matches with the No. 1 doubles team of Ali Schickert and Erica Counter going undefeated in three matches.
The Hodags host their next meet at 2:30 p.m. Thursday against Columbus Catholic.
