Underage drinking citations issued to 13 campers from out of state/country

STAR JOURNAL REPORT
Thirteen citations for underage drinking were issued after a Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources ranger came across a party over the weekend on state land off of Oxbow Road in the town of Newbold, said Oneida County sheriff Grady Hartman.
Hartman said a sheriff’s deputy wrote the citations to campers from out of the state and the country ranging in age from 16-20. He noted they were brought to the jail early Monday morning to post bond because they didn’t possess a valid Wisconsin driver’s license.
According to a daily booking activity report from the sheriff’s department, the individuals cited for underage drinking came from Illinois, Washington, Texas and Mexico.
