Downtown Businesses UP CLOSE: Tricia’s Treasures is worth the trip

STAR JOURNAL REPORT
By the time the first shovel of dirt was tossed last spring for the downtown Rhinelander infrastructure improvement and Streetscape projects, downtown business owners had plans in place to make the best of road construction season.
Tricia Novak, who owns Tricia’s Treasures at 37 S. Brown St. is now feeling the rumblings of construction as work has begun near her store, and she is ready for it.
“We have been offering various sales and discounts throughout the summer, and will continue into the fall,” Novak said. Check the Facebook page for current promotions.
With the street and sidewalk closed, Tricia’s Treasures will open its back door for customer convenience. There is also parking behind the store, accessible through an alley. Tricia’s offers home décor to “make your decorating unique,” which means selling things that cannot be found anywhere else. Shoppers can also stop in if they’re looking for just the right gift for a friend, co-worker or family member. Novak says they carry quality gifts including Spartina, Greenleaf and Thymes fragrances, Robin Goodfellow and Waxing Poetic jewelry and Finchberry soap.
Hours for the downtown Rhinelander store are Monday – Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tricia’s can be reached by phone, 715-369-1160, or email, trici[email protected]. Website is triciastrasuresand bistro.com.
