Vintage Thrift has something for everyone

STAR JOURNAL REPORT

Thrift stores are undergoing a renaissance across the country. Northwoods “thrifters” are fortunate to have a store right downtown Rhinelander. Shoppers will find both vintage and modern items at Vintage Thrift, located at 20 S. Brown Street.

Whether the goal is to purchase clothing to add to a wardrobe, buy vintage home décor, or up-cycle knick knacks into a personal work of art, store owners Matt and Tricia Rempert have plenty to choose from. They sell furniture, tools, clothing, linens, dishes, knick knacks, lamps, art and more.

“We come into our merchandise by cleaning out and buying estates,” according to Tricia Rempert. “That’s how we have been able to acquire many of our unique and quality items.”

Rempert added that their prices are reasonable and they have “something for everyone.” Both Matt and Tricia say it’s important to note that the store is locally owned which means that every dollar spent at Vintage Thrift stays in the Rhinelander community.

Even though the store is in the middle of the infrastructure improvement construction zone, customers can park behind the store and enter through the back as well. Vintage thrift can be reached by phone at 715-522-0909, and can be found on Facebook.
